Un-Scene 4 launch night!

This Sunday, London Borderline, 16+, 7pm kick off. Confirmed to play their 30 second songs are
The Ruined, choDe, And Now We're Even,  Laughing In The Face Of, Oxygen Thief
The Southern Cradle, Short Warning, Fantastic Castle, The Apostates, Templeton Pek, Despondent, hides in caves and more are going to appear on the day….

and we’re stoked to announce that The Steal are also going to come and play a full set - their first show in 7 months - as a headline act.

New Noise DJs will be playing the hits in between the bands and we welcome as many labels, bands, zine writers to come along, set up stalls if you please, and celebrate this one off for a one off scene. Tickets are available for venue collection from: www.banquetrecords.com/shows or on the door. Entry is a fiver and you gotta be 16+ to get in. The cd is out in all good record shops and even some bad ones the following Monday. We would hope people get it from their local independent record shop. Tell them the catalogue number is BANQUET004 and it is distributed by [PIAS] distribution. If you can’t support your local indie then you can get it from www.banquetrecords.com/punk

See Me vs Hero on tour!

Tuesday, 25 March 2008

I've always wanted to be big in Japan...

So I've always wanted our little label to stretch to all four corners of the world if at all possible and today was a really proud day as I packaged up nearly 300 CDs to send to Japan for release on Inyaface Records. So from next month you will be able to get Over and Out, Me vs Hero and A Man Down releases in the land of the Rising Sun.

So I decided to document the very happy occasion and here are the photographs to document the three stages of packing up all these CDs.

So this is the pile of boxes from where those CDs in the last photograph came!

And this is the first of three boxes all taped up and full of CDs ready to go on a plane to Asia!
